Boxing Day, for those of you who are unfamiliar with it, is a holiday that usually falls on the day after Christmas. Outside of the U.S., it's observed by much of the English-speaking world. I like it just because it's something that we sorta, kinda, but not really celebrate here in the States. Due to its proximity to Christmas, Americans almost always have this day off from life (unless we work retail) but it's not an official, or even unofficially acknowledged, holiday.
Wikipedia has some interesting
theories on how Boxing Day came into existence in Europe but offers no clear answers. One thing's for sure, it probably has absolutely nothing to with pugilism. Just the same, I thought I'd post a couple of hot boxer pics. The elf hat on the second pic is from a fun, silly iPhone app I downloaded...figured I'd go with the holiday spirit. The first pic, however, is just too damned tasty to do any kind of unnecessary monkeying with.
