Okay, so maybe Mike Davis was just a porn movie star (and “star” might even be stretching it a bit) but I had as much of a crush on him as I ever did on, say, Gary Cooper or Matt Damon. I first ran across pictures of him in the late 80’s (probably in one of those great, old pre-Internet Bijou Video catalogs) and was completely turned by his hairy chest, nice cock, and rugged-married-guy-next-door good looks. As a young man in my 20’s, he was exactly what I hoped my future husband would look like.
A contemporary, frequent costar, and personal friend of porn legend Al Parker, Davis was known primarily as a model and actor for Colt Studios. Most of his films are of the older, silent “loop” variety but, with even these obvious limitations, his woofy manliness cannot be denied. Alas, Davis (whose real name was Winn Strickland) died in 1986 from complications due to AIDS.
